Industrial Energy Saving And Carbon Reduction Information Web

The purpose of this project responds to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) with its Kyoto Protocol into action, and assists with Industrial Development Bureau (IDB), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) to design affiliated strategies and research structure adjustment/reduction scheme of manufacturing, allocation mechanisms of carbon emission, supplementary measures of energy tariff (carbon tariff), etc. for facing the international requirement of GHG reduction in the future.　For designing strategies and estimating foundation, the project keeps building database of domestic GHG emission model values of best available technologies and facilities.　As regards industrial voluntary reduction, it accomplishes the first stage voluntary agreement, and runs and arranges the second stage industrial voluntary reduction.　There are by means of inventory guidance, registry management and building database to assist in setting domestic GHG inventory ability, grasp the practical emissions and potential reduction ability from every industry, and build industrial GHG foundation data.　In addition, there is promoting carbon disclosure in manufacturing to accord with affiliated requirements of international supply chain.　Moreover, there are by means of holding training lesson, achievement meeting, etc. to be not only extending this project's achievements, but also improve industrial GHG reduction sense for getting international cooperation in the future.
